Meeting Summary from January 3, 2025

Our meeting summary from the first of the new year's meetings!

  • Partnership Discussion:
  • Lynn from Newbraska
  • Mission: Supports mid-sized businesses with strategic planning
  • Projects: Co-founder of Newbraska Now – a $99/month networking/action group,  Podcaster seeking guests
  • Partner: Lee Meyers
  • Engagement with BID: Interested in collaboration
  • Snow Removal & Budget Planning Budget Fun
  • Snow Removal Costs: (April) would take up a lot of budget. Expensive!
  • Holiday Lights Proposal (Molly): received an estimate from only one vendor, and he highballed it so we would know the top cost. We would buy velvet bow and garland for each pole, then include labor to install/take down and store during winter. Cost per pole: $359.64. Thinking of starting off with a few and adding more each year. Others are not interested in providing estimate until the fall.
