This month's meeting revolved around more budget discussions. Currently making sidewalks responsibility for adjacent business/landowner. We can amend later once we have a better idea of how the streetscape functions. We included a small fund for kickoff entertainment fees and approved a small amount for potential legal fees. Still waiting for some outstanding bids to come back.
We also discussed the current status on streetscape. NRD, City Planning and the engineering firm are to ratifiy maps by March 24: no work can start until then. Sewer relocation: cost has gone up (box culver, liner, no rise, time delay) $7.5 mil.
