RESCHEDULED: Public open house for the Military Avenue, Northwest Radial Highway, and Cuming Street Corridor Study

Due to recent weather conditions, the public open house for the Military Avenue, Northwest Radial Highway, and Cuming Street Corridor Study has been rescheduled. The meeting will now take place on: 

Thursday, March 26, 2026,
from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
at Benson High School 

The City of Omaha is continuing this safety study to explore future improvements that reduce speeds and improve safety, comfort, mobility, and access along the corridor. Community and stakeholder input has been an important part of this effort. The meeting will be open house style, allowing attendees to review materials, ask questions, and provide feedback directly with the project team. Whether you walk, roll, bike, drive, or ride transit, let's make it more comfortable and easier to use.



Cuming Street corridor to reduce speedingThis safety study explores future improvements that reduce speeds and improve safety, comfort, efficiency, mobility, and access. No formal presentation is planned, this will be an open house format with opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation with the project team. If you’re unable to attend in person, you can view meeting materials and provide comments online until April 25, 2026.
