The board is still working with OPPD regarding relocating overhead wires (power lines, cox/telecom), and making decisions regarding street furniture, pending options to be supplied by Ollson. The ARPA funds can be used in 2025 as long as our contract with OPPD is secured this calendar year.
Fundraising progress is nearing completion, with $4.8 million secured out of $5.2 million for the main project; an additional $400k will be required for the alley. Various foundations and local businesses are potential contributors for the remainder.
