During our meeting we discussed:
Temporary Easements: will be required of all businesses along N. Saddlecreek. Will be contacted by the Right of Way (ROW) agent.
Maintenance Agreement: City attorney is drafting a BID contract for maintenance of the alleyway retaining wall, landscaping, and sidewalks.
Funding:
OPPD waiver submitted: $455,020 total.
Funding includes $285,000 from ARPA and additional fundraising contributions.
Traffic & Road Closures:
N Saddlecreek closure delayed: policy also requires development completion before turn lane (funded by the developer) is constructed
Public input will be sought—having a board at the upcoming public meeting would help.
Public Meeting:
Scheduled for June 25 @ Harrison Elementary, 7–8 PM
Improved, eye-level streetscape renderings requested
Roll plots and corner rendering to be available.
Social media posts planned to promote the meeting.
Ollson is mailing out public communications (PC).
Street Furniture: Design needs to be finalized soon. Ollson has shared initial concepts with designers and expects updates next week.
